Socialization of Population Census 2020 in Tangerang Municipality's Car Free Day

On 15 December 2019, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Tangerang City held a socialization activity for the 2020 Population Census at the Tangerang City Car Free Day event. The event was enlivened with joint gymnastics events, souvenir distribution and also provided Instagram photobooth for BPS City Tangerang visitors.

In this activity, some Tangerang City BPS employees mingled with the community to do morning gymnastics together. At a session, Rinto, the Chair of the 2020 Population Census Mako explained that "the 2020 Population Census is one of the government activities aimed at calculating the population of Indonesia. The results of the Population Census will be used as a platform for the government in carrying out development".

The Population Census will be held online on February 15-March 31, 2020. The public can access the census.bps.go.id site to fill and record information independently in the Online Population Census.
