In May 2019 Tangerang Municipality Inflation was 0.45 Percent

In May 2019 the prices of goods and services in Tangerang Municipality generally increased, this was indicated by an increase in the Consumer Price Index number from 144.18 in April 2019 to 144.83 in May 2019 or an index change of 0, 45 percent.

 

From seven expenditure groups, three groups experienced an increase in index and four groups experienced a decrease in index. The highest index increases occurred in the foodstuffs group while the lowest index increases occurred in the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group. The index of the foodstuffs group in Tangerang Municipality rose by 1.96 percent, the processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group rose 0.29 percent, the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group rose 0.10 percent, the clothing group dropped 0 , 24 percent, the health group fell 0.08 percent, the education, recreation and sports group down 0.09 percent; and the transportation, communication and financial services group fell 0.11 percent.

 

Tangerang Municipality calendar year inflation rate of 1.22 percent, while the inflation rate "Year on Year" (May 2019 May 2018) of 3.49 percent.
