In August 2019 Tangerang Municipality Inflation was 0.53 Percent

In August 2019 the prices of goods and services in Tangerang Municipality generally increased, this was indicated by an increase in the Consumer Price Index from 146.08 in July 2019 to 146, 86 in August 2019 or an index change of 0 53 percent.

 

From seven expenditure groups, five groups experienced an increase in index and two groups experienced a decrease in index. The highest index increases occurred in the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group while the lowest index increases occurred in the education, recreation and sports group. The index of the foodstuffs group in Tangerang Municipality rose by 0.85 percent, the processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group rose 0.11 percent, the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group rose 1.73 percent, the clothing group increased 1 , 02 percent, the health group fell 0.05 percent, the education, recreation and sports group rose 0.09 percent; and the transportation, communication and financial services group fell 0.72 percent.

 

Tangerang Municipality calendar year inflation rate of 2.64 percent, while the inflation rate "Year on Year" (August 2019 August 2018) of 3.75 percent.
