In September 2019 Tangerang Municipality Deflation was -0.03 Percent

In September 2019 the prices of goods and services in Tangerang Municipality in general decreased, this was indicated by a decrease in the Consumer Price Index from 146.08 86 in August 2019 to 146, 82 in September 2019 or an index change of - 0.03 percent.

 

From seven expenditure groups, six groups experienced an increase in index and one group experienced a decrease in index. The index decline occurred in the foodstuffs group while the highest index increase occurred in the clothing group and the lowest index increase occurred in the processed food, cigarettes and tobacco and health groups. The index of the foodstuffs group in Tangerang Municipality fell by -0.93 percent, the processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group rose 0.07 percent, the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group rose 0.14 percent, the clothing group increased 1.45 percent, the health group rose 0.07 percent, the education, recreation and sports group rose 0.55 percent; and the transportation, communication and financial services group rose 0.12 percent.

 

Tangerang Municipality calendar year inflation rate of 2.61 percent, while the inflation rate "Year on Year" (September 2019 to September 2018) amounted to 3.66 percent.
