Banten's NTP in May 2021 was 98.19, an increase of 0.12 percent from the previous month's NTP. This is due to the increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 0.72 percent and the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.59 percent.

In May 2021, rural inflation in Banten Province will be 0.76 percent. Inflation occurred in eight expenditure groups, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group, Clothing and Footwear Group, Personal Care and Other Services Group, Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel, Equipment, Household Equipment and Routine Maintenance Group, Health Group , Transportation Group and Information, Communication and Financial Services Group. While the other three groups did not experience changes in the price index.

The average price of grain at the farm level in May 2021 increased for Milled Dry Unhusked (GKG) by 4.16 percent, Harvested Dry Unhulled (GKP) by 4.03 percent and Low Quality Unhusked by 20.77 percent

The average price of grain in May 2021 at the farmer level with GKG quality is Rp. 4.234,- , GKP Rp. 3.977,- and Low Quality Rp. 3,647,- per Kg. For the quality of GKG on the Ciherang variety, the lowest price was Rp. 4,050 and the highest price is Rp. 4.500, - with the same variety Ciherang.

The nominal wage of farm workers in May 2021 is Rp. 66,574,- per day, up 0.14 percent from the previous month. Meanwhile, in real terms, it decreased by 0.61 percent, from Rp. 60,558, - to Rp. 60,188, - per day.
