Abstract

A. Export Development

Banten's export value in November 2021 rose 19.33 percent compared to October 2021, from the previous US$1,117.69 million to US$1,333.70 million.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in November 2021 increased 19.63 percent to US$1,331.78 million compared to the previous month.
  • The largest non-oil and gas export value in November 2021 came from the footwear goods category (HS 64), reaching US$257.73 million.
  • The largest non-oil and gas export destination country in November 2021 was the United States with an export value of US$237.25 million.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in November 2021 experienced an increase in the agricultural sector, industrial sector, mining and other sectors compared to the previous month.
  • Banten's export value in November 2021 was highest through Tanjung Priok Port, which reached US$ 1,074.12 million.

  • B. Import Development

    Banten's import value in November 2021 rose 21.26 percent compared to the previous month, namely from US$1,281.70 million to US$1,554.24 million.
  • Oil and gas imports in November 2021 rose 66.16 percent from US$464.60 million in the previous month to US$771.97 million. Meanwhile, for non-oil and gas commodities, the import value decreased by 4.26 percent to US$782.27 million, compared to the previous month, namely US$817.10 million.
  • The largest non-oil and gas import value in November 2021 came from the organic chemicals group (HS 29) which reached US$264.27 million.
  • The largest supplier of non-oil and gas imported goods in November 2021 was India with an import value of US$136.40 million.
  • The value of imports according to categories of use of goods in November 2021 compared to the previous month experienced an increase in the categories of consumer goods, raw/auxiliary materials and capital goods.
  • Judging from the port of discharge, the largest import value for November 2021 came from the Port of Merak which reached US$875.76 million.
