Banten's NTP in December 2021 was 99.29, an increase of 1.08 percent from the previous month's NTP. This is due to the increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 1.87 percent and the increase in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.78 percent.
In December 2021, rural inflation occurred in Banten Province at 1.02 percent. Inflation occurred in eight expenditure groups, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group; Information, Communication and Financial Services Group; Household Supplies, Equipment and Routine Maintenance Group; Health Group; Clothing and Footwear Group; Personal Care and Other Services Group; Recreation, Sports and Culture Group; and Transportation Group. Meanwhile, other expenditure groups, namely the Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel groups experienced deflation and the other two groups did not experience significant changes.The Banten Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in December 2021 was 99.48 or an increase of 1.82 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.The price of grain at the farmer level in December 2021 increased for all qualities. Milled Dry Grain (GKG) increased by 6.71 percent, Harvested Dry Grain (GKP) by 4.36 percent and Low Quality Grain by 4.05 percent.The average price of grain in December 2021 at the GKG quality farmer level is IDR. 4,700,-, GKP Rp. 4,265,- and Low Quality Rp. 3,850,- per Kg. For GKG quality, the highest price is Rp. 5,000,- for the Ciherang variety and the lowest price is IDR. 4,500,- for the Ciherang variety.
Nominal wages for agricultural workers in December 2021 Rp. 66,846,- per day, up 0.01 percent from the previous month. Meanwhile, in real terms, it experienced a decrease of 1.00 percent, namely from Rp. 60,757,- to Rp. 60,149,- per day.
