Abstract

The rice harvested area in 2021 will reach around 318.25 thousand hectares, a decrease of 7.08 thousand hectares or 2.18 percent compared to 2020 which was 325.33 thousand hectares.
Rice production in 2021 is 1.60 million tons of GKG, a decrease of 51.92 thousand tons of GKG or 3.14 percent compared to 2020 which was 1.66 million tons of GKG.
Rice production in 2021 for the population's food consumption will reach 913.10 thousand tons, a decrease of 29.57 thousand tons or 3.14 percent compared to rice production in 2020 which was 942.67 thousand tons.
