Abstract

In October 2023, the prices of goods and services needed by the people of Tangerang City in general have increased, this can be seen from the increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) figure from 113.86 in September 2023 to 114.1 in October 2023 or a change in the inflation index of 0.21 percent

Personal care and other services were the expenditure group that experienced the highest inflation at 0.7 percent. Followed by leisure, sports and culture groups by 0.62 percent. Then the transportation group increased by 0.6 percent, health by 0.56 percent, and food, beverages and tobacco by 0.26 percent, while 2 other expenditure groups remained and 2 groups experienced deflation between 0.27-1.04 percent
