BPS CONDUCTS PODES DATA SURVEY AGAIN

Have you ever heard of PODES?

Tangerang City BPS is again holding Village Potential data collection or abbreviated as PODES from 2 to 31 May 2024. Podes is the only complete regional data collection carried out by the Central Statistics Agency. Later, the Podes data will be able to describe the potential of an area at the Village, District and Regency/City levels throughout Indonesia, such as: Population, Infrastructure, Transportation, Natural Disasters and others.

The 2024 Podes data collection covers all administrative areas at village, sub-district and district/city levels. The 2024 Podes data can be sourced from document searches, government officials, related agencies and other competent sources. Apart from providing data on village potential in the social, economic and infrastructure sectors, the 2024 Podes data also produces various regional indicators such as the Village Index and Geographic Difficulty Index. Podes 2024 data is also used as a basis for development evaluation, supporting information in preparation for the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) as well as other BPS methodological activities.
