Abstract

In July 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Tangerang City will be 2.48 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.66.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in all expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 3.53 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.27 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.4 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 3.35 percent; health group by 1.93 percent; transportation group by 1.16 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.52 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.12 percent; education group at 0.78 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 5.65 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 5.22 percent.
