August 2023 Tangerang City's Year on Year (yoy) inflation share is 2.81 percent. The highest inflation was in the transportation group at 11.06 percent.

Abstract

In August 2023 the prices of goods and services needed by the people of Tangerang City generally decreased, this can be seen from the decrease in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) number from 113.73 in July 2023 to 113.59 in August 2023 or there was a change the deflation index was 0.12 percent.

The equipment, equipment and household maintenance group was the expenditure group that experienced the highest inflation, namely 0.43 percent. Followed by the transportation group at 0.2 percent. Then the recreation, sports and culture group increased by 0.13 percent, and housing, water, electricity and household fuel by 0.03 percent, while 8 other expenditure groups remained constant and experienced deflation between 0.01-0.69 percent.

The inflation rate for the calendar year (August 2023 against December 2022) is 1.58 percent, and the year-on-year inflation rate for August 2023 against August 2022 is 2.81 percent.
