Abstract

In December 2023, the prices of goods and services needed by the people of Tangerang City will generally increase, this can be seen from the increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 114.78 in November 2023 to 115.37 in December 2023. Food group , drinks and tobacco experienced the highest inflation, namely 1.54 percent. Followed by the personal care and other services group at 0.95 percent. Then the clothing and footwear group was 0.81 percent, the information, communication and financial services group was 0.17 percent, the transportation group was 0.09 percent, the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group was 0.08 percent, the equipment group , equipment and routine household maintenance 0.06 percent while 3 other expenditure groups remained constant and 1 group experienced deflation of 0.41 percent.
